Custom design steel castings / HSS node connections
The Kaiser Bolted Bracket is a Special Moment Frame connection which is
shop fillet welded then installed entirely by bolting in the field. It saves hours
of installation time and money and is tested and proven to meet the highest
standards. The KBB connection is
pre-approved in the ANSI/AISC
358-05-s1 Seismic Provisions Code
.

Imagine retrofitting a building without welding!  The KBB retrofit version is
bolted in both directions to provide the seismic retrofit without field welding.
It is simply drilled and bolted in place!

Green Construction
Traditional wrought steel materials
used in construction consist of a
combination of recycled and new
steel made from iron oar and cannot
be classified as a green material.
Steel castings are made from
recycled steel and are officially rated
as 100% recycled material which
qualifies them for full green building
LEED credits.
